Faculty – Sound Engineering (Pune)
Job Description:
Seamedu is seeking a passionate and industry-oriented faculty member in Sound Engineering to deliver academic and practical training in Music Production, Music Recording, Audio Signal Flow, and Music Business. The role involves conducting theory and practical sessions, mentoring students on academic projects, and supporting hands-on learning within professional studio environments.
Key responsilities:
- Teach subjects including Digital Audio, Recording, Music Production, Signal Routing, and Music Business.
- Guide students through project-based learning and academic assignments.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, presentations, and practical exercises.
- Mentor students in music production, studio recording, and audio workflow practices.
- Support smooth functioning and maintenance of studio and lab environments.
- Encourage creative and technical development among students through practical exposure.
Specific Skill Set:
- Strong understanding of Music Production workflows and recording techniques.
- Practical knowledge of studio signal flow, microphones, and audio routing.
- Proficiency in at least one industry-standard DAWs such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, or similar software.
- Strong communication and student mentoring abilities.
Minimum/Maximum Work Experience Required:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience in Music Production, Recording, or Audio Engineering.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience will be an added advantage.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sound Engineering, Audio Production, Music Technology, or related field.
Location(s) of Job: Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU), Pune.

- Exposure to immersive audio workflows (ATMOS) and modern production techniques.
- Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
